  • “The ‘Golden Sands’ collection of paintings are inspired by my love of spending time near the water’s edge, steeped in the sense of perfect calm & relaxation that comes from watching waves roll onto the shore.

    These three artworks, painted exclusively for Studio 38, are designed to compliment the colours of the Isle of Skye Paint company’s ‘Cuillins in Summer’. Each individual piece can be displayed as a stand-alone work of art, but as one painting flows to the next, they also have the wonderful option to be displayed as a statement triptych”.

    I feel a strong emotional connection to creating artwork in this style, as though the painting is articulating my feelings in a way that is difficult to express in words. This piece represents strength, courage, and determination”.
